GRIFFITH FILM THEATER

 

 

Griffith is located on the lower level of the Bryan Center, next to Sheafer Lab Theater. All performances in Griffith are general admission. Griffith Film Theater has a seating capacity of 500. Griffith is used for academic classes, as well as regularly screening films through Freewater Presentations.

DIRECTIONS

• From Raleigh and the East: Via I-40 West: Merge onto 147 N via Exit 279B toward Durham/Downtown. From 147 N take Exit 16B onto 15-501 S toward Chapel Hill. Take Exit 108A onto Morreene Road. Turn LEFT onto Morreene Road. Continue through two lights. (Morreene Road becomes Towerview Drive at the second light-Erwin Road). Take the second LEFT onto Science Drive. The Bryan Center parking lot and garage will on your RIGHT. Exit the parking deck on Level 2 and follow the trail into the lower level entrance to the Bryan Center. After you enter the Bryan Center, turn right and follow the hallway past the UCAE offices. Turn right again, and Griffith Film Theater is ahead on the right.
• From Chapel Hill and the South: Via US. 15-501 North: From the US-15/501 Bypass N take the Exit 108A onto Morreene Road. Turn RIGHT onto Morreene Road. Continue through two lights. PARKING INFORMATION 

Parking Information: Parking is available for West Campus venues in Parking Garage 4 (Bryan Center Parking Garage). The cost is $2 per hour or $5 per car during events. Parking is available in the Bryan Center Parking Deck (PG IV), located on Science Drive near Duke Chapel and the Bryan Center, for West Campus events. A special event parking fee of $5, cash only, will be charged by Duke Parking Office attendants upon entrance. Duke employees with valid parking permits can park free in the Bryan Center Parking Deck (PG IV) after 5 pm.

ACCESSIBLE PARKING

Accessible parking spaces are located in the Bryan Center Parking Lot and in Parking Garage IV. There is a drop off area in the Bryan Center Lot/Traffic Circle.
Automatic door openers with remote control capability are located at walkway and circle entrances.

There is an accessible path of travel leading from the parking deck to entrances facing the Bryan Center Plaza and parking lot.

Accessible elevators are available to all levels. Griffith Theater is located on the 200 level/middle level of the Bryan Center.

Men's and Women's restrooms in the Bryan Center are equipped with accessible features.
