Sheafer Lab Theater, located on the lower level of the Bryan Center, is a versatile black box venue featuring flexible seating arrangements. All performances held here are general admission, offering an intimate and adaptable experience for audiences.

DIRECTIONS

• From Raleigh and the East: Via I-40 West: Merge onto 147 N via Exit 279B toward Durham/Downtown. From 147 N take Exit 16B onto 15-501 S toward Chapel Hill. Take Exit 108A onto  Morreene Road. Turn LEFT onto Morreene Road. Continue through two lights. (Morreene Road becomes Towerview Drive at the second light-Erwin Road). Take the second LEFT onto Science Drive. The Bryan Center parking lot and garage will on your RIGHT. Exit the parking deck on Level 2 and follow the trail into the lower level entrance to the Bryan Center. After you enter the Bryan Center, turn right and follow the hallway past the UCAE offices. Turn right again, and Sheafer Lab Theater is ahead at the base of the stairs.
• From Chapel Hill and the South: Via US. 15-501 North: From the US-15/501 Bypass N take the Exit 108A onto Morreene Road. Turn RIGHT onto Morreene Road. Continue through two lights. (Morreene Road becomes Towerview Drive at the second light-Erwin Road). Take the second LEFT onto Science Drive. The Bryan Center parking lot and garage will on your RIGHT. • From Virginia and the North: Via I-85 South: Exit onto 15-501 S toward Chapel Hill. Off of 15-501 S, take Exit 108A onto Morreene Rd and turn LEFT onto Morreene Rd. Continue through two lights. (Morreene Road becomes Towerview Drive at the second light-Erwin Road). Take the second LEFT onto Science Drive. The Bryan Center parking lot and garage will on your RIGHT. Exit the parking deck on Level 2 and follow the trail into the lower level entrance to the Bryan Center. After you enter the Bryan Center, turn right and follow the hallway past the UCAE offices. • From the Triad and the West: Via 1-85 North: Take Exit 172 onto Durham Freeway NC 147 South. Take 147 S to 15-501 South toward Chapel Hill. Take Exit 108 A onto Morreene Road. Turn LEFT onto Morreene Road. Continue through two lights. (Morreene Road becomes Towerview Drive at the second light-Erwin Road). Take the second LEFT onto Science Drive. The Bryan Center parking lot and garage will on your RIGHT. Exit the parking deck on Level 2 and follow the trail into the lower level entrance to the Bryan Center. PARKING INFORMATION

Event parking is available in Parking Garage 4, adjacent to the Bryan University Center on West Campus. Please arrive early to allow time for parking. Fees range and specifics for your event will be provided via email before your event. You may pay an attendant, or if an attendant is not present, pull an entry ticket. Keep the ticket with you and pay at an automated pay station before returning to your vehicle. The pay station will return the paid entry ticket, which is required to exit the facility. Please view the pay station instructional video.
 

ACCESSIBLE PARKING & VENUE INFORMATION

Accessible parking spaces are located in the Bryan Center Parking Lot and in Parking Garage 4. There is also a drop off area in the Bryan Center Lot/Traffic Circle.

Once you are parked, accessible entry to the Bryan Center is available through multiple entrances, depending on your parking location.

Automatic door openers with remote control capability are located at the walkway and circle entrances.

Accessible elevators are available to all levels. Sheafer Lab Theater is located on the middle level of the Bryan Center.

Restrooms equipped with accessible features are located on the same level as Sheafer Lab Theater, to the left as you exit the theater. Additional restrooms are located on the top level of the Bryan Center and can be reached by elevator.

Sheafer Lab Theater is a small black box theater. The seating area consists of risers holding padded chairs with armrests that can be rearranged depending on the needs of the performance. Chairs on the lowest level of seating can be removed to provide wheelchair accessible seating.

On the night of a performance in Sheafer, ticket sales and will call pick up are located at a counter on the lower level of the Bryan Center immediately outside the entry to Sheafer Lab Theater.
