BALDWIN AUDITORIUM
Baldwin has a comfortable seating of 691, and is accessible on all levels. Baldwin also features a wrap-around balcony that brings audiences closer than ever to the musicians with impeccable sightlines.

Due to construction, the gated Pegram lot is inaccessible, limiting on-campus parking off Markham Avenue. Additional parking is available in the Bishops House and Basset/Brown Residence Hall lots. Please enter on North Buchanan Blvd across from Dacian Avenue. (602 N. Buchanan Blvd).

From Raleigh and the East: Via I-40 West: Merge onto 147 N via Exit 279B toward Durham/Downtown. From 147 N take Exit 14 and turn RIGHT onto Swift Avenue. Continue through the traffic light (Swift Avenue becomes Broad Street). Turn RIGHT onto Markham Avenue, and take another right if continuing to North Buchanan Blvd. Parking is available along Markham Avenue. Non permit-holders may park in surrounding campus lots after 5pm.

From Chapel Hill and the South: Via US 15-501 North: From the US-15-501 Bypass N, take the exit for Durham Freeway NC 147 South. From 147 S take Exit 14 and turn LEFT onto Swift Avenue. Public parking is available along Markham Avenue and in East Campus lots from 5pm to 7am. East Campus lots require permits 7am to 5pm.

Parking #1 (Bivins) Provides principal parking for Baldwin Auditorium. These lots are accessible via the campus entrance located at the intersection of West Markham Avenue and Sedgefield Street.

Parking #2 (Asbury United Methodist Church) on the corner of Clarendon Street and W. Markham Avenue. This is a public lot, please follow any posted parking signs.

Parking #3 (Bishop's House and Basset/Brown Residence Hall lots) This lot is accessible via the campus entrance located at the intersection of North Buchanan Boulevard and Dacian Avenue. Guests with accessibility or mobility needs will have priority access to this lot. Accessible drop off / pick up parking is also available in Baldwin Loop, behind Baldwin Auditorium.
ACCESSIBLE PARKING
Brown Residence Hall and Bishop's House provide accessible and additional general parking for Baldwin. These lots are accessible via the campus entrance located at the intersection of North Buchanan Boulevard and Dacian Avenue. These lots will not be serviced by Duke Parking and are available after 5pm on a first come basis. Accessible pickup and drop-off are also available in the Baldwin Loop off Markham Avenue.
Once you are parked, there is an accessible ramp into Baldwin Auditorium located on the east (house right) side of the building.
There are seats that can be removed to accommodate guests using wheelchairs located at the aisle ends of Row A in the house right (100) and left (300) seating sections, and Row P in the center (200) seating section.
A restroom equipped with accessible features is located on the Orchestra level of the theater, on the west (house left) side of the building. The men's and women's bathrooms on the bottom floor also feature accessible stalls and can be reached via the elevator on the east (house right) side of the building.
There are no handrails on the front entrance to Baldwin Auditorium; however, the side entrances to the building do have handrails.
