Program

The 2026 Ciompi Presents summer chamber music series will be held in Baldwin Auditorium, one the of premiere venues for classical music in the Southeast. With its excellent acoustics, audiences will be able to enjoy some of the finest chamber music available in the Triangle. Guest artists, familiar and new, will join Ciompi musicians in three performances that are sure to draw audiences in and celebrate the power of the arts to make real our dream for a beautiful world. The series begins with a presentation by Eric Pritchard, violin, titled The Union Forever: Ideas of America on Friday, May 22, Caroline Stinson, cello, will present the second performance titled My Brother's Keeper: Feeling With on Thursday, June 11, and the series will close with a presentation by Jonathan Bagg, viola, titled Kind of Blue on Thursday, June 18. Subscription tickets to all three performances are $60 and available until May 22, 2026.
