Cellist Pamela Smits has received wide acclaim for her phenomenal command of technique, diversity and natural way of playing. She has toured throughout Europe and elsewhere, performing in North and South America, Antilles, Lapland, Israel, Costa Rica, Hong Kong and the United States, and played recitals in the Kleine Zaal of the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam, the Mozarteum in Salzburg, the Meistersaal in Berlin and at the Edinburgh Festival in Scotland. 
 
German pianist Sabine Simon has performed with the Berlin Symphony Orchestra, Leipzig Gewandhaus Orchestra, Dresden Philharmonic, Berlin Radio Orchestra, Rubinstein Philharmonic Orchestra Lodz, Mozarteum Orchestra Salzburg, and under Conductors such as Antoni Wit, Zdzislaw Szostak and Dennis Russel Davies. She has performed throughout Europe, as well as in Japan, the U. S., Canada, Brazil, Argentina, and Mexico, with appearances in Berlin Philharmonic Hall, the Schwetzingen Music Festival, Salzburger Mozartwoche and Klangspuren Schwaz, among others. 
 
Ms. Smits and Ms. Simon have recorded two CDs together: The French Cello (2004, re-released 2011 by Universe Classics) and Felix Austria, a CD with repertoire by Czech and Hungarian composers (2010, Universe Classics), which has received widespread international acclaim. Together they have done various tours, performing regularly in joint recitals in Germany, Austria and the Netherlands.
