Retrieving Tickets

Can I print my tickets at home?

At this time the Duke University Box Office does not offer print at home purchases.

I chose to have my tickets mailed but haven’t received them. What should I do?

The Duke Box Office only mails tickets if it is 5 or more days from the performance date. We also do not mail out any tickets that have been purchased with an employee or student discount as we need to see an ID card for verification of the discount. Tickets that fall into these categories will be held at Will Call and are available for pick up during our regular business hours, or up to 1 hour prior to the start of the event at the venue. If none of these cases apply to you, call the Box Office during our normal business hours at 919-684-4444 to speak with a staff member.

What is Will Call?

Will Call is the name for tickets left at the Box Office to be picked up in person. Will Call is available at the Box Office in the Bryan Center any time during our normal business hours, and then transferred to the venue of the event starting 1 hour prior to the performance.

If I pick my tickets up at Will Call, do I need to bring anything?

Patrons should be prepared to present photo identification, as well as the name the tickets were reserved under. Your order confirmation can be helpful if you have it, but it is not necessary.

If you purchased tickets at a discounted rate, such as Duke Student or Employee, you will be asked for your ID for verification of your status of enrollment or employment. If you do not have the ID used to obtain a discount, you will be charged full price for the tickets upon receipt.

I lost my tickets. What should I do?

Tickets cannot always be reprinted for an event, but we make our best effort to help our patrons to receive new tickets. You should contact the Box Office during our regular business hours or by email, and ask if it would be possible to reprint the tickets for your order.
