Refunds & Exchanges

I can no longer attend an event I bought tickets for. What are my options?

All sales are final with no refunds or exchanges. There are some circumstances that require this policy to be altered, such as an event cancellation or postponement. If you believe your order falls into one of these circumstances, contact the Box Office during our regular business hours to speak with a staff member about your order.

I bought tickets for the wrong night of an event. What can I do?

If the event you bought tickets for has multiple nights of performances, the Box Office may be able to exchange your tickets from one night of a show to another night of the same performance. We can make no guarantee that you will be able to get the same or similar seats for the adjusted order.  For your privacy and insurance of your purchase, the original purchaser must contact the Box Office to alter the ticket order.

I bought specific seats to an event, but now more friends want to go. Is there a way we can get different tickets next to them?

We cannot guarantee that it will be possible to move tickets for patrons for all performances. We try to be as accommodating as possible in situations like this, so the best course of action is to call or come into the Box Office and speak to a staff member to learn if it will be possible to adjust your order.

What happens to my ticket if the event gets cancelled?

If an event is cancelled, hold on to your tickets for the event. If the event can be rescheduled your tickets will be valid for the rescheduled performance. If it cannot be rescheduled, you may be required to return your tickets to show proof of purchase for a refund. Refunds are at the discretion of the organization presenting the event and the Duke University Box Office.
