COVID-19 REQUIREMENTS

As we welcome artists and audiences back to live performance, we are prioritizing the health and safety of our community. Keeping each other safe during events will require collaboration and we are grateful for your support.
Events will adhere to all university, local, and state regulations on and off campus, which are subject to change on short notice depending on public health conditions. If a performance is off campus, there may be additional regulations, please review information prior to attending. Health and safety information will be updated here regularly and via email to ticket holders in advance of each performance. (Updated 1/7/2021)

By purchasing a ticket, you are acknowledging notice of health measures required for events. Guests who do not comply with these policies will not be admitted and will be refunded.

MASKING
  • Duke University requires masks indoors, covering the nose and mouth.
  • Current Duke University guidelines for campus visitors apply to all presentations on and off campus.
  • Please keep your mask on for the duration of the performance.
COVID-19 VACCINATION
  • All guests at select events as indicated at time of purchase are required to present:
    • A photo ID* AND
    • Proof of full COVID-19 vaccination status*
    • OR a negative PCR test within 48 hours of each event* 
  • *Note: Current Duke University students, staff, and faculty may present their DukeCard for entry as proof of COVID-19 vaccination compliance.  
  • Full vaccination status is in accordance with current CDC guidelines and is considered to be either two (2) doses of the Moderna or Pfizer vaccine OR one (1) dose of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine administered at least 14 days prior to attending each event.
  • Guests and staff who are not fully vaccinated can still attend by showing a professionally administered negative PCR test result (within 48 hours of event). Guests presenting a test must provide a printed or electronic copy of a PCR diagnostic test within 48 hours of the performance date that includes: full name, date of test, testing agency and negative test result.
  • Antigen rapid at-home self-tests and other antigen tests will not be accepted.
  • Guests 11 years of age and younger do not currently need to provide proof of full vaccination or a negative test result, but they must comply with all other policies, including the indoor mask mandate.
  • Testing will not be available onsite at performances, please be prepared to present appropriate documentation upon arrival.
  • Policies will be updated as needed and subject to change.
  • Ticket purchasers are responsible for communicating these policies to all guests in your party or to whom you provide tickets to.
  • Guests who do not comply with these policies will not be admitted and will be refunded.
STAY HOME IF YOU ARE FEELING SICK
  • If you have symptoms, or have come into contact with someone with COVID-19 in the last 14 days, please stay home and contact us for flexible ticketing options at tickets@duke.edu.

FLEXIBLE TICKETING
  • We want the return to in-person performance to be as safe, easy, and enjoyable as possible. If you are not feeling well, we invite you to let us know in advance of the performance for flexible ticketing arrangements. Please contact the University Box Office at tickets@duke.edu at least four hours prior to the performance start time if you plan to stay home and would like to exchange or refund your ticket.
SEATING
  • If you have questions or concerns related to your seating options at an upcoming performance, please be in touch with the University Box Office at tickets@duke.edu.
  • Ticketholders will be emailed current attendance requirements prior to each performance.
CONTACTLESS TICKETING
  • The box office and house staff will be taking measures to limit contact as much as possible, including expanding mobile ticketing options for many events, and contactless scanning.
ENHANCED CLEANING
  • Venues on Duke University’s campus are operating under restricted access and receive enhanced cleaning and sanitization of high-touch surfaces.
  • Duke University venue ventilation is in accordance with CDC guidelines.
HAND HYGIENE
  • Hand sanitizer stations are positioned throughout campus venues for your convenience.
HEALTHY TEAM
  • All employees and vendors are required to be symptom free before entering the building, as well as wear masks at all times, and frequently wash their hands during shifts.
