The Duke Community is invited to join us for an engaging fireside chat as former U.S. Representative Liz Cheney, sits down with Peter Feaver, professor of political science and public policy and director of the Program in American Grand Strategy, to discuss the current political landscape ahead of the 2024 election. This intimate conversation will delve into key issues shaping the nation's future, the dynamics within the two major political parties, and the election ahead. Don't miss this conversation about the challenges and opportunities facing America during this pivotal time.
Cheney will speak at Duke as part of the Sanford Lecture Series. Endowed by the William R. Kenan, Jr. Charitable Trust, this prestigious lecture is open to the Duke University community. The lecture series intends to promote engaged and enlightened leadership. The lectures are held in honor of the late Terry Sanford, a bold leader who served as North Carolina governor, U.S. senator, president of Duke University, and founder of the Sanford School of Public Policy. Event partners include the Sanford School of Public Policy, the Program in American Grand Strategy, and Duke Centennial.
